Boys of Summer

Well, maybe not quite Haida Gwaii, but pretty close. We had our first ball practice tonight and man am I rusty. I haven't thrown a baseball in probably 3 years. I did manage to get a couple hits before I subbed myself out, so I'm happy. Not sure about this long weekend whether it's going to be playing ball or killing trout. There is a big derby down at moresby camp, so that may be another option. Whatever the case, I'm laying low.
Work has been good with still many, many hours, but it looks like things are going to lighten up a bit and deal with some decent bankers hours. I've got to keep myself busy the surf has been non existant! I'm thinking I'm going to dry up here soon if we don't see a little bit of swell.
Well, not too much else to report, so I'm going to sign off. I'll have some good stories before long. ciao
