Currently in Haida Gwaii, this is a diary of my times spent and the people that I meet. To most it will be a surf update, to others a spiritual assessment, and definitely fun to all.

Can you dig it?

Nice pic of my favorite road on the island. Travelling down our beaches is a true gift to provide fun, food and more. The surf check goes down this road, the crabs and clams are found on this road, and not to mention the exhillaration of flying down a white sandy beach at 100km/hr without steering. Once again, another reason to feel blessed in Haida Gwaii.
Life has been busy again with the guiding and trying to set up the shittiest hotel on the island. I've managed to stock my little surf shop with new kites and gear which has provided for some fun in the sun with my new mountain board. Kiting down the beach at 40km/hr on a skateboard is quite a rush I must say. Surf has been shotty at best, but it is summer and we know it's not the time for it. The beach boarding has given another great source of adrenaline and kept sanity abreast of these tired times.

Clams on the beach after a nice dig. Tasty!!!

Fletcher demonstrating the way to dig for this tasty critters. This guy could dig 1 every 10 seconds!! 300lbs in 3 hours!

My two ladies at the spit. Notice the lack of tracks at this spot. Hoping to keep it that way, with minimal disturbances.
